FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • From Pre-K to Grade 1, you can visit the school to set an appointment time and pay for the application fee.  The form must be completed thoroughly and submitted with the other required documents listed on the website.

    From Grade 2 to Grade 12, you will need to book an assessment appointment through our website. You will need to visit the school 3 to 7 days prior to pay the application fees and take your form. 

    For students with learning difficulty,You will need to call this number (01024648579) to reserve an appointment. 

  • The assessment appointment day is a 3 to 4 hour process in which the following occurs:

    Placement Exam

    Applicants applying for Grade 2 through 12 will be asked to take placement exam which comes in the same format of a MAP test (Measurement of Academic Progress) assessment. Thus, the student’s readiness will be measured through both mathematics and reading comprehension, as well as writing an essay and participating in a short interview. 

    Medical Assessment 

    It is essential for applicants to undertake a medical assessment by our school doctor in which the child will undergo a physical examination and an overall health check.

  • For Egyptian Applicants

    • 6 recent passport-sized (4×6) color photographs
    • An original electronic birth certificate
    • Original academic end of year reports for the previous two years (including most recent report from the current school) stamped from previous school.
    • Sequence of previous academic years and transfer request stamped by the administration of the ministry  of education.
    • Copy of both parent’s national ID and a copy of the student’s passport(If Available).
    • (Grade 9 only) Any transfers from national schools require a stamped report card by the ministry of education. 
    • Starting from grade 9, report cards should indicate GPA, Credit hours and Grading key stamped from AdvancED or an accreditation agency.
    • Confidential (sealed) Behavior Report from the most recent school.

    For Non-Egyptian Applicants

    • 6 recent passport-sized (4×6) color photographs
    • An original birth certificate and copy of student’s and both parent’s passport.
    • Original academic end of year reports for the previous two years (including most recent report from the current school) stamped by the ministry of education affiliated to the country and the Egyptian ministry of foreign affairs.
    • Starting from grade 9, report cards should indicate GPA, Credit hours and Grading key stamped from AdvancED or an accreditation agency.
    • Confidential (sealed) Behavior Report from the most recent school.
  • You will be notified of your child’s acceptance within one week. 

  • Pre-K must be Age 2½ by the first of October. 

    KG1 must be Age 3½ by the first of October. 

    KG2 must be Age 4½ by the first of October. 

    Grade 1 must be Age 5½ by the first of October.  

  • Yes, we provide transportation in most areas in Cairo.

  • Yes, we service  children that have a wide spectrum of learning needs that include autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, cerebral palsy, specific learning disabilities, Down Syndrome and Asperger Syndrome. However, places are limited depending on the severity of the case and the needs of the student. 

  • Our school day is from 7:30 am – 2:30 pm for students in Pre-K through Grade 12. Please note that visitors are not allowed after 12:45 pm.

     RenWeb School Management Software gives you, the busy parent, an opportunity to get more involved in your child’s academic progress and future success – all via the Internet!

    RenWeb’s ParentsWeb is a private and secure parents’ portal that will allow parents to view academic information specific to their children, while protecting their children’s information from others.  You can see your child’s grades, attendance, homework and conduct, as well as other useful school information.  You can also communicate with teachers and other school staff online whenever necessary.  All you need is an Internet-capable computer.

    Here’s how to access our easy-to-use RenWeb ParentsWeb:

    • Make sure that the school has your email address in RenWeb. 
    • In Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari, go to www.renweb.com and click Logins.
    • Type the school’s District Code DA-EGY
    • Click Create New ParentsWeb Account.
    • Type your email address and click Create Account. An email will be sent which includes a link to create your ParentsWeb login. The link is active for 6 hours.
    • Select the Click to Create your ParentsWeb login link.
    • A web browser displays your Name and RenWeb Person ID.
    • Type a User Name, Password, and Confirm the password.
    • Click Save User Name and/or Password.
      A message displays at the top of the browser, “User Name/Password successfully updated.”
    • You may now log in to ParentsWeb using your new User Name and Password.
    • ParentsWeb allows you to access: (edit this list to reflect your school’s ParentsWeb Configuration)
      • Student attendance and daily grades
      • Progress reports, reports cards and transcripts
      • Lesson plans and homework
      • School events and lunch calendar
